I just purchased this floor jack and so far I am happy with it. It is heavy! After removing from the box, the handle was installed and it was ready to go. Directions say there can be air in the hydraulic oil from shipping and gave directions on how to remove it but I did not have to. Worked right out of the box.

I read the bad review prior to purchasing and have the following opinion: the vent change is recommended but not necessary. The black shipping block is plainly visible so I don’t know why it wasn’t removed before he damaged his jack.

Well built. Lifts my truck (1/2 ton 4X4)and jeep with easy. The release valve is very controllable. This is a great upgrade from the C-man 3 ton I have used for the past 15 years. I liked this one so much I bought a second for use at work.

I bought 2 shop Carlyle service jacks. One had a bad caster right out of the box. It took 3 weeks to get a replacement. The other started bypassing at about 30 days and I am supposed to send it in for repair. Last time it took several months and failed almost immediately. Junk
