My first pair lasted about 3 years of almost daily wear and tear. It's a nice benefit to have the plier, crimper, and cutter in the forward section, and an additional cutter near the grip. The newer vinyl grips on the handles is thicker than the old style, which is also an improvement in build. I usually wait til they go on sale though. $49.99 for a set of crimpers is steep, regardless of how good they are.

Love everything about these I'm a diesel mechanic and bought a pair of these little over 1year ago and out of all my electric tools this bad boy is my go to love how it's got the cutter on top and I'm the middle warranty is on point!
