As a mechanic of 40+ years, I do have my preferred brand of tools. That being said, I did find these to be of high quality and very durable. The 4pc set has the ones that I need and use most. They have good weight to them and fit just right in my hand. The textured grip is nice, especially when my hands are greasy. They lock tight and hold strong. It's easy to release and adjust with one hand. The small bright green color on the grip actually made seeing them easier when they were mixed in with my other tools and when I set them down under the hood and didn't exactly remember where. All in all, good quality tools.

This is my first time using a product by the brand Carlyle when it comes to my tools and these feel like high quality tools. This 4 piece Locking Pliers set works great, they feel and look well made.

These are some high quality pliers that are superior compared to their overpriced competitors. They feel heavy duty with rubber handles that eliminates pinching while saving your knuckles from a beating! The teeth are serrated, giving it a nice grip with the added Allen key tightener for even more hold on any nut or bolt. Another bonus is the tool holder that the pliers come in. As you can see, organization is definitely needed in my tool box. Now I need more of them. So, next time you think of buying tools on a tool truck, decline and get yourself Carlyle tools instead!

Amazing quality what a great set of pliers. These so far have been great to have in the tool box I have already used them on multiple projects and they work better than other brands I have the functionality of th unlocking mechanism is awesome. You can tell they use high-quality materials. With the multiple sizes this kit is perfect.

After opening these pliers, the fit and finish seems to be on par with premium brands. The set comes with a decent variety of sizes. They seem robust, the grip is comfortable and doesn't seem like it will degrade that badly over time. After trying them on a few nuts and bolts, the hold seems solid and the teeth grip really well. I don't use these types of pliers often, but I will definitely be reaching for them whenever I need one.
